Day 171-February 18, 2013

     First I battened down the project materials preparing for tomorrow's storm.  I covered and moved construction materials and added some leaves to the compost.  I freshened up the chicken coop bedding.  Then I headed to the quarry.  I sifted and moved 8 or 9 wheelbarrows of rock, preparing enough of the bed to plant the 11 raspberry plants and 2 blackberries that I bought last week.  I wanted to get them in before the weather.  The clouds and cold descended in the late afternoon.  I worked until dark.  Fred called and asked what I had planned for dinner.  I said, "Well, I was planning to have beer for dinner."  He said, "How about I pick up a pizza."  "Great!"
