Day 157-February 4, 2013

     Spring is in the air today even though it is the dead of winter.  I witnessed squirrels and turkeys having sex!  It was another wonderful morning working in the garden.  I cleaned the straw bedding from the chicken coop and layered some in the compost and some on a bare garden patch.  I did some pruning, but there's still more to do.  AJ came to look at my tile plan and bathroom ideas.  Eddie picked me up with our bikes and AJ, Eddie, and I checked out the Sweetbriar property for Colin and Cora.  As much as I love the name, it's not the right home.  Mike and Jacque checked it out two, then the four of us bicycled out Spenceville Road and down Oak Meadow.  It is lovely there. Fred has a sore throat so he stayed home and rested after work.
