Day 334-July 31, 2013

"Gwamma," I love to hear.  I met Jen at her work, and Precious spent the day with me.  We headed down to Lake Wildwood to get Kamp Kerksieck parking passes.  We played at the boat launch park, she loved the water too.  She was good about leaving the goose poop alone.  We dropped some chairs at Judy Hoddy's and then headed to the library.  To my surprise, it was preschool story time, AND Izzy Tooinsky was doing a show just after.  Alexa, the wiggle worm, made it through about half of the show.  She's not one to sit and watch.  I was delighted to see some former students there as well.  We stopped at Uncle Scott and Aunt Savannah's on the way home.  They are building a big shed, an extension of their little apartment below the big house that they rent out.  I enjoyed their tasty seedless grapes that are beginning to ripen.  The napping house is always a favorite part of my Alexa time too, she wears me out!
About 9 I got a call from Cora.  She was headed to the hospital to get Acorn checked.  She wanted me to be on standby.  Another call at about 11.  We agreed I'd come in the morn.
