Day 318-July 15, 2013

     Well, hmmm...  Twas a Monday, let me think...  I got distracted on the computer and finally walked Karly just after 9.  I fixed up the automatic sprinklers connected to the house water for the garden while I'm in Santa Rosa with Acorn's arrival.  Due date it next Monday.  After some bank paper gathering, I stopped by Wells Fargo, then met with Denise, Agate's bookkeeper for over 29 years, almost there as long as Fred.  We talked about details related to the business to help me get my sea legs under me with this new venture starting Fred's Custom Milling and Lumber.  We will wait for the machinery acquisition to be complete before formalizing anything, but I have lots of footwork to do now.  Big learning curve!!!  I did some laundry and such.  Fred needed to pick up his dirt bike at Adam's so I dropped him there, wired $17K to Eddie in Arkansas to buy a truck, picked up some nice fresh wild salmon and some Red Vines at Safeway, then watched a bit of Jacob's third All-star game.  We heard later that he got a home run AND won the game.  Uncle Fred told me to give him a $20 when I see him at Tuesday's game, but he can't tell the other kids.  Mum's the word!
