Day 309-July 6, 2013

     Blackberry picking, two buckets, started the day.  While is was still cool, we headed over for more firewood.  We worked until we lost our shade.  I then made cobbler for our dinner guests, Mel and Art.  I must have cleaned house and jumped in the pool, but where does the time go?  Oh yes, Fred gave me a fabulous massage!!!  That's where the time went!  Pasta, salad, and bread make an easy meal.  I set the table, and that always make things feel special.  We enjoyed conversation on the deck after dinner.  Art has worked in the mill longer than Fred, and he'll continue to work with Fred as saw-filer and assistant.  We've camped with them before, and we'll do a Nevada trip in October.  We were up past 11, that's late for us.
