Day 310-July 7, 2013

     Blackberries again, Fred was making pancakes, so...  I made the rest of the bucket into syrup.  That was after our adventurous motorcycle ride with Erica and John.  We rode to Colfax, across the north fork of the American River to Iowa Hill, around to Sugar Pine Reservoir, through Foresthill, then down to Yankee Jim's on a gravel road to cross back over the river into Colfax.  We found a great little diner next to 80, Dine and Dash.  Great burgers and coleslaw, nice energy in the place.  I read and took a nap when we got home.  Jenn made soup and invited us to dinner.  We had a lovely mealtime together, then took a nice long walk around the block, all five of us.  I brought cobbler to share.  My heart sang.  We stopped at friends, Cyn and Gary, who live nearby so I could drop off a book.  We chatted with them for half an hour, then found ourselves getting home past bedtime.  Two late nights in a row!
