First stop, Grocery Outlet to get a couple of cases of wine at 20% off. Next I swooped up Savannah at her folks'. Our son's fiance has been up here for about a month. We were on the road before 9:30 to meet up with Scott. He was in Santa Rosa staying with buddies after interviewing in Alameda for a firefighter/paramedic position. He has been traveling up and down the state to try to secure a new position up north while working for the fire department in Calexico. I offered to drive to save him some windshield time. We met at Tiny Thai in Cotati, just around the corner from his old apartment. Colin, Cora, and E'lora joined us for a delightful lunch. "GrandMuM's awesome." I headed off at 2 to fetch Uncle Eddie from Sacramento airport. After a Home Goods stop finding one Christmas gift and stemless wine glasses, I got the airport at 5. He joined us for the crock pot pork dish I'd started in the morning. I whipped up some tortillas. Fred had made spinach salad and apple cake. It's good to have Brother home.
