New trail! With the bicycles, Matt, Mark, Mike, Fred, and I started up Pioneer Trail where it crosses Lowell Hill Road at Highway 20. Felicia and Kiko were the shuttle drivers with the meeting spot at the 5 Mile House. Eighteen and a half miles with 900 feet of elevation, busting through snow, over rocks and roots, between the trees of our beautiful Sierra forest. Grand adventure! I'll sleep great tonight.
We came home to nine messages on the answer machine. The search for the perfect tenant continues, but today mostly felt like a day off from the chore. I did answer about nine phone calls before we left this morning.
