Day 3-September 3, 2012

     Homemaking day today that included starting kale and pea seeds in a flat.  The smell of sheets dried on the line is a favorite thing.  I continue to sell books on Amazon, a fun little activity that began two springs ago when I was home recovering from pneumonia.  It is my special fund for friend trips.  The "girls," our 10 chickens, enjoyed the corn cobs from last night's dinner.  I keep asking them who is going to lay the first egg.  Homemaking, right up there with "chop wood, carry water," a truly satisfying day.
