Day 124-December 2, 2013

     I took Karly to the vet at 10:30.  He did an X-ray and blood work.  He is treating her as having pancreatitis.  She just kind of lays about.  Between Karly care, I took down most of Christmas and vacuumed up a bunch of pine needles.  Boy, was that tree dry!  I pondered the blessing of family and friends as so many little treasures were placed back in their boxes.  I had a sweet conversation on the phone with Colin and E'lora, and with Jenn too.  I checked on Karly during the night.  She was nestled in the hall, at first I thought she was already gone, but then she stirred.  Understanding the cycle of life and our roll in it is difficult.
