Day 269-May 27, 2013

     Memorial Day.  There is a blanket of clouds and a very light rain falling.  Fred headed out early to work on a cash labor job with Jeff redoing a deck in Wildwood.  I've been digging out a garden bed to install wire to keep the gophers out, hopefully.  Oh my goodness, by 4:00 I could hardly lift the shovel.  I tried to work until Fred got home, but gave up. I'd say my garden work is about half done.  I'll need to carve out another day this week.
