Christmas! I squealed with delight when I found an ultrasound pic and a bow on the fridg. E'lora will be a big sister in July.
We had a lovely rainy day here at home, Colin, Cora, Trev, E'lora, Grampa, and I. Grampa and I took E'lora for a swing and morning walk during an early morning break in the rain. After our strata brunch and opening fest, Colin and Trev went for a round of disc golf, a favorite hobby of their's. Cora and I rolled out two trays of cherry winks, Tutu's traditional cookie at Christmas.
I got Fred a toy BMW RS for ALL of his grandkids, present and yet to come. It put a smile on his face.
E'lora loves her magna doodle and Trevor his computer keyboard input. I have cozy fur slippers from Fred. Colin picked out a beautiful beaded necklace for me too. I read aloud "A Christmas Carol" while Trev and Colin were playing a round of Wii golf. The prime rib roast turned out great, as did the smashed potatoes made following Martha Stewart's directions using a ricer.
Joy to the World was my decorating theme of our table, this was a simple Christmas reminding us all of the gift of God's Son, Jesus.
