Day 113-December 22, 2012

     Another rainy stormy day.  I headed right for Iron Man in the morn, just after some Saturday morning "This Old House."  Fred and I had a jaunt to town to get some licorice root.  I was inspired to look online for a recipe for Aveda tea, another little something for Jen and Cora.  I picked some mint from the garden to dry for the tea.  We walked around downtown Grass Valley a bit.  It was busy everywhere.  We got tasty cappuccino samples from the Krups salesman at Tess', score!  I got my squash soup started a bit late, so our dinner was awesome nut burgers and salad.  Fred said I can make those again anytime.  It's the perfect planover with leftover brown rice.  I baked up the cake and cupcakes for the next day's birthday party too.  Homemaking rounded out the rest of the day, as it does most days.
