Home. All day at home is a good day. I made burnt butter snickerdoodles, a recipe I found on a new favorite blog, serenabakessimplyfromscratch.com. Chard and zucchini from the garden, eggs from our girls today were ingredients in our dinner quiche. I fed the fire all day, it rained on and off, even some hail in the afternoon.
I'm repurposing our two small rooms upstairs. Our office will be for books and business. The sewing room will include crafts, kid activities, pictures, and projects. Good thing I retired, it will take many hours to organize and honor the pictures and momentos I've saved through the years. But, I need to keep that on hold until after Scott and Savannah's wedding. I've got a year full of projects on the list already!
